Today we come to a second story in which our Lord explains more about what a good Christian goes through in this world.

People in Jesus’ day imagined that the Messiah would blast the burned trumpet when the kingdom of heaven arrived, signaling the end of burned evil. However, Jesus did not come to pass judgment.

According to Isaiah, the coming Messiah will “proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor kingdom and the day of vengeance.” Early in His ministry, Jesus got up and read but only got halfway through the verse! What about the day of vengeance?

With Jesus, grace comes first, and judgment comes later. Meanwhile, what will occur in the realm?

  •  Expansion

Until Christ returns, evil will grow alongside good. That is Jesus’ message, and we must have this insight if we are to serve for a lifetime because we must comprehend the nature of the world in which we live.

Is this present reality a superior or more terrible spot to live? Both! The world is both improving and deteriorating at the same time!

The man who sowed good seed stands is the son of man, flourishing and yielding a bountiful harvest. But unfortunately, the weeds are also growing as the son of the kingdom. They are becoming more prominent and firmly entrenched with each passing week of disciples.

  •  The Gathering

The day of God’s grace has arrived. But, unfortunately, the Day of Judgment hasn’t arrived yet, so the kingdom of heaven and enemy will appear like this: good wheat in a wheat-infested field.

Talking about “bringing in the kingdom of heaven” or making the world suitable has become fashionable, especially among younger Christians. However, it’s crucial to remember that ‘bringing in the kingdom’ entails weeding out the weeds and dismantling the world’s substantial power structures of evil.

 Christ is the one who is in charge of the task of judging. We have not been entrusted with it by him.

He encourages us to live and prosper in this world until he returns and brings about a just judgment in which all will be held accountable. The weeds among the wheat will be picked and bundled into the blazing furnace of the enemy on that day till the end of the age.

  • Exercising Tolerance

In our culture, the word tolerance has been stolen, especially by the devil of fire. It used to imply having patience, hearing, and forbearance with someone with whom you have a fundamental disagreement to fire. This is now denoting agreeing with what others say about the devil. However, Tolerance is unnecessary for those who share the same beliefs and make us understand the fiery furnace. 

Tolerance is an excellent Christian virtue that is required when serious conflicts exist. It entails exercising Tolerance and forbearance with people you find extremely difficult and with whom you have a fundamental disagreement.

It does not imply indifference that you are unconcerned about the psychic well-being of others. On the contrary, Christ Jesus makes it plain that wheat sprouted and weeds must coexist on this globe until the Son of Man arrives.

Remember that the church’s mission is to sow seeds fell, not pluck weeds. We already have enough on our plates dealing with sin in our hearts, families, and churches. It is neither within our capacity nor our calling to eradicate it from the world. That is Christ’s job, and he will complete it when he returns.
